CutFileZ Licensing Policy

Ownership and license grant
Unless a product listing expressly states otherwise, CutFileZ digital artwork remains the intellectual property of Lauren Farrow or the applicable rights holder. Purchasing an eligible CutFileZ digital design grants the purchaser a nonexclusive, worldwide, perpetual, nontransferable commercial-use license under these terms. Copyright and ownership of the underlying artwork are not transferred. No attribution is required.
Personal use and gifts
You may use purchased designs for personal projects, decorations, apparel, gifts, and other finished items. You may resize, recolor, combine, and adapt designs for uses permitted by this license.
Unlimited commercial physical products
You may create, advertise, distribute, and sell an unlimited number of finished physical products featuring the purchased design, including T-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, decals, signs, cards, bags, and similar merchandise. You may use the design as-is or modify it. Sales may take place online, in retail stores, at markets, or through other lawful channels. There is no per-design production cap or additional royalty owed to CutFileZ for permitted sales.
Print-on-demand permitted
You may use a purchased design as-is or modified on physical products manufactured through print-on-demand or fulfillment services such as Printify or Printful, including products sold through Etsy and other marketplaces. You may provide the design to a fulfillment provider solely as needed to produce your authorized physical merchandise, provided the provider does not offer the design itself for download, resale, or use by unrelated customers. You remain responsible for complying with the provider’s terms.
Digital end products
You may incorporate elements of a purchased design into a substantially new digital end product with meaningful original creative additions, provided the end product is delivered in a flattened or otherwise non-extractable format and does not compete with the original CutFileZ design as a reusable design resource. Merely recoloring, resizing, converting formats, tracing, combining purchased files, or placing the design in a bundle does not create a permitted new digital product. Selling the original design, a substantially similar standalone digital graphic, or an editable template that exposes the purchased design is not permitted.
Digital files may not be redistributed
You may not resell, sublicense, share, trade, gift, upload for public access, or redistribute the original or modified CutFileZ source files as standalone digital assets, including SVG, DXF, PNG, JPEG, or converted formats. You may not include the files in clipart packs, SVG bundles, digital asset libraries, editable design templates, or downloadable products that allow the underlying artwork to be extracted. A purchaser may not transfer this license to another person or business.
License duration and scope
For a one-time purchase made directly from LaurenFarrow.com, this license continues indefinitely for permitted uses, including future creation and sale of finished physical products. The license applies to the individual purchaser or purchasing business for its own projects and merchandise; it does not grant independent reuse rights to customers, contractors, or other businesses. Purchases made on other marketplaces may be governed by the license supplied with that transaction.
Third-party rights and exceptions
This license applies only to rights CutFileZ is authorized to grant. It does not grant rights in third-party trademarks, names, logos, characters, likenesses, or other protected material. Buyers are responsible for assessing whether their particular use requires additional permissions. Any express product-specific restriction stated before purchase takes precedence over this general license.
Original paintings and canvas prints
Purchasing an original painting or canvas print transfers ownership of that physical item only, not the copyright or rights to reproduce the artwork commercially. The digital-design commercial license does not apply to physical art purchases unless a separate digital license is purchased or permission is granted in writing.
Questions and additional permissions
For uses not addressed by this license, including software embedding, automated design-generation platforms, resale of editable templates, or third-party sublicensing, request written permission at lauren.h.farrow@gmail.com. We may update these terms for future purchases; changes do not retroactively reduce rights already granted for a completed purchase, except as required by law.
